Calais lace thread assortment n°2 - 12 pastel tones box - Fil Au Chinois

Another beautiful box set of lace thread cocoons from Sajou.  Each box has 12 cocoons perfect for crochet and embroidery and comes in a vintage style black box. 

The Caudry cocoons are a polyester thread for lace-making with a fine silver lurex strand. The thread is textured and slightly puffy and crimped with the silver lurex  protected by the surrounding polyester.

This thread is made of 3 strands of twisted mercerised cotton (the equivalent of DMC n° 80). The presentation in small cocoons each weighing 5 grammes (approx. 110 metres) makes it simple to use: the thread is pulled from the centre, so it doesn't knot. Each cocoon is labelled.
This assortment in a charming box, contains a collection of pastel tones: - sky blue (6750), pale yellow (6323), white (6100), almond (6803), beige (6212), jade green (6802), mauve (6603), light brown (6253), grey (6110), blue (6774), salmon (6598) and pink (6586).

Caudry cocoons can also be used for embroidery, crochet and all kinds of craft.
