Mondo Fil Papiyon Yarn
A wonderful new yarn from Mondo Fil in Japan. Papiyon (butterfly) yarn is gorgeous and fun used on its' own, as an embellishment on edgings, blankets, necklines or cuffs as well as in weaving and crochet.
The little bursts of colour in the tiny butterfly-like gauze fabrics threaded on to the holding yarn are exquisite.
This would also be very stunning used in sewing and stitching.

Length: Each cone has 470 metres/514 yards
Gauge: 30 sts per 10cm (4") on 3.75-4mm (US 4-6) but you can experiment with this yarn on larger needles for different effects or if held doubled with another yarn.
